Grown and harvested out of sustainable and well managed forest in Minnesota and throughout Ontario as well as Nova Scotia, the American Oak has a light grey bark on the exterior and the wood itself is of a light brown texture, strong, tough, heavy, finely grained and extremely durable hence much sought after in the furniture industry. Although used mostly as internal furnishings, American Oak table tops can be used outdoors but in well covered areas.
